Conectar is a Mexican project created by psychologist Paola Peña. A space dedicated to providing support and accompaniment to young people facing mental health problems related to existential crises and college stress.

Conectar stands out for its progressive and out-of-the-box approach. The atmosphere experienced by Paola’s patients is friendly and trusting; it is a place where respect and empathy are promoted.

The objective for the construction of the identity was to visually reflect what is generated in a genuine conversation between 2 people: reality, imperfection, empathy, friendship and irregularity.

I designed a friendly logo following the same concept of CONNECT to join the heart with the brain as well as the name connects with all its letters. Some distinctive features were added such as the text balloons and visual elements were created that make reference to some of the most common conditions that psychologist Paola treats with her patients.
